Copyright
Abiding by Copyright laws are very important. Many would claim that the rules surrounding copyright laws are not fair. As Christians, we are thankful for an unfair world. We deserve hell but God gives us grace. Educators are given a lot of freedom to use information. We should not use these freedoms to our advantage. Many companies, if you call them, allow you to use their information as long as you cite their information a certain way. When music is ripped illegally then the artists do not get paid for their music. Copyright infringement is taking advantage of another person. Copyright laws come down to a matter of integrity. Proverbs 10:9 says, “The one who lives with integrity lives securely, but whoever perverts his ways will be found out” (HCSB).

A bit about me!
Hello Everyone!
I decided, instead of spending hours talking about myself, I would spend hours writing about myself, just kidding. No, I hope you find this blog, at least somewhat, interesting. I will be posting things about myself and also will be putting homework reminders up so check in once in a while.
First let me start off by telling you a bit of my background. I went to a rural public school from Kindergarten through fifth grade. I really enjoyed my years in public school but my siblings were home-schooled and I wanted to be just like them. In sixth grade, I was pulled out of school and went to cyber school from sixth through twelfth grade. I then went to college at Word of Life Bible Institute for two years and then went to Cedarville University where I got my degree in Middle Childhood education. I was trained to teach Language Arts and Science.
I really have a passion for reading some of my favorite books are: Walk Two Moons, by Sharon Creech, Holes, by Louis Sachar, and Little Women, by Louisa May Alcott. In school, I always struggled with grammar. That has been the hardest part of being an English teacher. If you struggle with Grammar don't worry you aren't alone and I will do my best to encourage you and help you through.
My second emphasis was science. I love science but when I was in school science was one of my least favorite subjects. I was always shooting for the perfect answer. In science there are no perfect answers. There are also many different ways to evaluate evidence and we will look at those different ideas this year.
If you have any questions feel free to e-mail me. This is just a brief overview of my education.
Ms. Sheldon
